Running GTA V without meeting minimum Specs.
So I'm going to tell you now, I am not good with PC Specs and stuff. Well I already pre ordered GTA V but I'm a little unsure that my laptop can run it.

Operating system:
Windows 8.1 64

Processor:
Intel® Core™ i7-4510U with Intel HD Graphics 4400 (2.0 GHz, up to 3.1 GHz, 4 MB cache, 2 cores)

Processor technology:
Intel Turbo Boost Technology

Graphics:
Intel HD Graphics 4400

Display:
15.6" diagonal FHD BrightView LED-backlit touch screen (1920 x 1080)

Memory:
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM (1 x 8 GB)

Hard drive:
1 TB 5400 rpm SATA

Network interface:
Integrated 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN

Wireless:
Intel 802.11ac (2x2) and Bluetooth® 4.0 Combo; WiDi

These are my specs. I already know it won't run too smooth. What am I going to endure while playing the game though? I already ordered it on Steam and I'm wondering if I'm gonna have fun playing it or have to deal with a bunch of bugs and crashes. Thanks for any Help!

I would be surprised if the HD4400 ran it even on low.
Maybe 5 fps on the lowest possible setting at 720p or below. Your GPU is not bad as it can run ryse, alien isolation, and other modern games at above 10 fps on low. It's your CPU that is so bad it might not even be able to handle the NPC ai.

Well what would you recommend, should I get a refund? Because I don't want a game that is gonna run horribly. I've been through one and its horrible.

The minimum specs are there for a reason, and most of the time they're very accurate - they are the minimum grade of component you need to boot the game and have a generally playable experience at low or medium settings. If your machine does not meet the minimums, I would be surprised if the game even boots.

Go to the Rockstar website. Sometimes when new games are about to come out you can do a performance check to see if your machine is compatible with the game.

You can't get refunds on Steam digital purchases, it's your responsibility to read the requirements/read reviews/demo the game BEFORE you make the purchase. It's very unlikely Valve will refund your money.

Its a pre order though.

You can ask Support, but the stated policy is no refunds on Steam.

Ah! In that case you CAN get refund AND do it yourself.

It's a pre-order.

https://store.steampowered.com/account/store_transactions
-> Request a refund.

The money should be returned to your Steam Wallet.

Not sure if troll or doesn't knows hardware.
Is the total opposite. While your CPU is fairly good (although is a mobile version of i7 which in single core performance is on level of a desktop i3) your is the one GPU extremly bad for gaming. Basically any Intel HD GPU is horrible in gaming terms.
Your biggest mistake was when you thought that a laptop will be sufficient for demanding games. For gaming they are a waste of money since they are weak and cannot be upgraded.

Yes, I bought the laptop before I knew what PC Specs would matter. Now what would I have to deal with while playing the game? Like Lag, bugs etc.)

Bugs shouldn't generally be related to hardware not meeting the minimum spec. Low FPS (frames per second), and low quality graphics are the two biggest things you will notice, if the game loads. Unfortunately the frame rate will likely make the game unplayable.

It is good you got your issue resolved but keep in mind that you can always get a new PC and keep games in your library forever and when your hardware can handle it, the game will be there waiting for you so it is no big deal as long as you plan to game on a PC and use Steam.
