Combining gem stacks?
Hello, I'm having a small problem. I converted some of my intentory items, that weren't tradeable for a week into gems, and I had two stacks of gems. One was "normal" and the other was not tradeable for a week. After the restriction wore off, I can't seem to use that stack in any way. I have 900+ gems in my regular stack and 120 in the one that was restricted for a week.

I can't combine both stacks into a Sack of Gems and I can't do anything with the said stack.

How do you fix this?

I have 4 tradable stacks too. If theres anyone with the same problem add me to swap gems and merge them.
It helps to read the topic you're replying to first in case a solution has already been presented.

I'll throw in my experience. I traded several stacks to a friend (we both use mobile authenticator and are level 10+) and it combined them in his inventory to one stack. He was immediately able to trade them back to me and I was immediately able to pack them into sacks and sell them on the market. :vampstyle:

i mean... the gem-stack-problem, no windows-phone-app, no hl3,... the list of Things they should have done already years ago is huge... come on!

Steam Support needs to create trade bot account that will be do it automatically

i traded all my gems for the same amount of gems... now all works fine. it´s the only solution right now

One way to stack them is to trade them to friend or, if you have one, to alt account and then trade them back. I know it's a hassle but I think it's the only way to stack them at the moment.
I'll try that with my alt account whilst I'm still in Escrow, thanks.
