Combining gem stacks?

Hello, I'm having a small problem. I converted some of my intentory items, that weren't tradeable for a week into gems, and I had two stacks of gems. One was "normal" and the other was not tradeable for a week. After the restriction wore off, I can't seem to use that stack in any way. I have 900+ gems in my regular stack and 120 in the one that was restricted for a week.

I can't combine both stacks into a Sack of Gems and I can't do anything with the said stack.

How do you fix this?

It seems to be an ongoing glitch.

They seem to be detected as different IDs; which won't merge.

i.e. in your case,

your 1,923 gem pile is #753_6_1318099700 your 120 gem pile is #753_6_1641453367

The 753_6 prefix means the 'Community' -tab under Steam

One way to stack them is to trade them to friend or, if you have one, to alt account and then trade them back. I know it's a hassle but I think it's the only way to stack them at the moment.
