Xenoverse won't launch! Please help!!
So, on Saturday I finally was able to purchase Dragon Ball Xenoverse. I installed the game like I always do, and after two hours the update finished. Once it was downloaded, I clicked the play button and it led me to a file verification screen. I waited another three minutes to find out that I had the error "1 file has failed to validate and will be reacquired." Not knowing what this meant, I went back to my library and clicked play again. It went all the way to 100% and all of the sudden it paused. I went to the downloads section of the library and tried to update it from there, but it continued to pause at 100%. I have been searching forums trying to find a solutions and have not found anything. I have tried to reset my "ClientRegistry.Blob" file by letting steam create a new .blob file. That did not work. I also tried to re-install steam and the Xenoverse, but it still gives me the same error. I even tried to erase all of the files I had for Xenoverse, and re-installed it again, but it ended up doing nothing. I have tried to change my download region, but that has not worked. So, I am asking you guys to help me with my issue because I do not want to have to get a refund for the game. All I want is to be able to play this amazing and fun game. Thank you for your time.

I have tried that and that hasn't worked. Either way, that did not work I have already tried that. I also have to leave now.
Did you try turning it off and on? I'm not kidding DOTA 2 would do the same thing and I turned my computer off and on and it worked
I have tried doing this and have seen people get away with it, but it hasn't worked for me.
I am sorry everyone! I finally figured it out. My McAfee Antivirus was preventing the file from validating, but once I got rid of it I was able to play! Thanks for all the help. :D

mcafee is full of false positives, get kaspersky.

what do you mean by "get rid of it"? did you get rid of mcafee? how do you do that?
uninstall, obviously?
