Is it important to have a good mouse?
And a keyboard for gaming?

To a degree, yes.
You don't want a gunked up mouse that doesn't trace your movements very well, but you don't need to spend a lot. Just buy a cheap mouse and keep it clean. Same goes for your keyboard.

Depends on the game. FPS on a pc is best played with a Keyboard and Mouse for example.

Good is a personal opinion. I like the Logitech G9x, some prefer the generic $10 mouse. Both will work fine. Same with Keyboards. I like the cheap $10-$20 keyboards, some prefer the $100+ keyboards. It just depends on your prefrence and what features you want.

Microsoft's standard "Wheel Mouse:Optical" works pretty well. I recommend the USB one or expect to replace batteries forever.

If you just happen to have an XBOX360 or PS3 controller that may be best for arcade style games, a racing wheel for driving, and a quality joystick for Mechwarrior-ing. Keyboard works of course but may be awkward getting used to.

There are keyboards built just for single games. 20+ more buttons for all your Warcraft needs.

Then there are keyboards that do so much more... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optimus_Maximus_keyboard
Each button is a screen and anything can be drawn on it... for just $1,600.00

The G105, nice and cheap.
But it has a kawaduty mudrwafa 3 logo on it.
Should I buy it?

I can take or leave a gaming keyboard but I wouldn't be without my mouse. Really depends what your needs are, what you play and how good you are.

Buy a trackpad... for your desktop... like a boss

Even FPS's can be played on a touchpad, but I wouldn't reccomend it.
I put $30 into one of those bluetrack mice, and it was one of the better $30 I've spent. You can use it on just about anything. Plus, it comes in green ;)

I miss the oldschool trackball mice. Perfect for gaming, a pain to use for everything else.
(Your thumb spun the mouse-ball for extreme accuracy. Also you never had to lift the mouse)
