Trade Confirmation not being sent, trade approved nevertheless.
Basically the title. What's happening? Did Valve remove the confirmation emails, didn't tell us, or is this a bug?

how can i change my email if i cant log into my account? because i cant receive the email to get the code to log on? on a new computer with no old computer that had original access. its been over a year. with no response from the "support" team....

Sorry...that is the problem with hundreds of users posting in the same thread about mostly the same issue...it is easy to get confused because everyone has slightly different issues between all the posting you see...

What I posted was for those that CAN get into their accounts...for example, trading notifications are a problem it seems so making a new email seems to fix that for most.

yea, thx for helping who ever you can.. i dont even know what trading is its been that long i just wanna feel that old school felling of playing 1.6.... but wow steam has gone way down hill since then with all these extra steps to logging in.and verifications.
I have the same problem. I can't get Trade Confirmation or Forgot Password emails. Please anyone help? This is ridiculous Steam.

Here's something that may help Hotmail/Outlook users. It's a link to a MS support page.
The address I put in as a safe sender was "noreply@steampowered.com" (without the quotes). I tried a trade and received the confirmation e-mail. Hope this helps someone.

ive disabled it, yet it still wont allow me to complete any trades without confirming it through an email WTF!?

You have to confirm disabling it, through your email.
