Port Forwarding Help

I am trying to port forward for Unturned. I know that this isn't the Unturned forum, but that's because the problem isn't with unturned. I put the port to forward as 25444, TCP/UDP. Everything should be working. But when i went to find my public IP, on ipchicken, it showed up as some really strange number that I had never seen before. It was something like 38.80.137.50, and my friends can't connect to it. I have a Netgear DGND3700v2, and port forwarding hasn't really worked at all on it. Any help with port forwarding on Netgear routers would be helpful, also answers about the weird IP. Thanks!

Same issue here. I have the same router and port forwarding doesn't seem to work with it.

You input the IPv4 to your router's port forwarding menu; and you give your friends your WAN IP you find at http://whatismyip.com

If you don't know your IPv4; check it on cmd.exe with the ipconfig/all -command.
You can access your router with the DHCP -address.

1. I have obviously done all of this, I know how to port forward. It just isn't working, so I thought I would ask to see if anyone has had an experience like mine.
2. Read the second sentence. I posted it here because there is no problem with Unturned,just a general port forwarding problem.

What do you understand? How to fix the problem, or Netgear routers, or what?

Seems that there is a problem forwarding these specific ports. I tested forwarding both port 25444 and 25565 (For a minecraft server) and the minecraft port worked whereas the unturned port still didn't clear.
