"No reviews in your language", poor implementation by Steam
Why can't I read other languages review then? I would like to have the option at least to choose which languages I should see. It is crazy I have to swap Steam Interface's language just to be able to read reviews.

Simply crazy.

Steam thinks it is an improvement for their customers if they only see reviews in their language.

You are 100% right. Adding a simple language selection box would be really easy.

As I found people usually doesn't care to select proper language, therefore I usually see reviews written in English by people that have set by default the same language as I. I was thinking about changing my interface language to English to be able to see more reviews (or more precisely, in many cases ANY reviews).

Sometimes Steam is claiming that there are "No reviews in your language" (or rather translation of this sentence into my language) but after refreshing some times later there are. (And it's not that suddenly tens or hundreds of people writing them in this minute, these are months or years old. )

I some what agree but for now you can go to the hub of the game there you can select a langrage
Thanks for the advice Black Blade, I'll try to follow you suggestion until something more practical is implemented by Steam.

Steam and my entire PC has everything set to english and still I have this issue. I'm really tired of steams regional ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Censored games, completely banned games but they keep making it worse. Let me associate with whatever country I want. Not like they care about checking anything themselves anyway (greenlight, skyrim mods).

I just googled a game I was interested on Steam (Metal Slug) and saw a portion of the review... one click later and I get this same "no public reviews in your language" nonsensical error. Where'd it go Steam? Where'd the review in ENGLISH just suddenly espanol off to, huh?

Conspiracy part is a conspiracy --> Just a way to get people to buy shoddy games without seeing people's reviews of said games haha... but seriously, come on Valve, this is pretty ridiculous.

Yep - it also happens if your language is English, but your location is in the Netherlands..

Not an single review to be seen!!!

For me it's simple. No reviews? NO BUY!!!!!!

I have enough games to keep me busy, and Steam does not seem to want my money...

Maybe it's just a bug.
Since its STEAM you never can decide if it is a bug or a "feature". Same result anyway.
Worst part is that steam as usual gives a crap about users.

I guess I'm not the only one. I thought it was strange to say the least, but probably something stupid or a**hole at worst.

How does it choose language i wonder. Seems by region.. that reminds me of EA-origin with their region-lock. Sad, always thought that steam devs has more common scence

I get this problem, but I'm in the UK and my language is English. I doubt changing your language will solve this. I think it must be a problem on Steam. :/
