cs:go gun keeps firing by itself
Hello

Hope someone can help me with my issue. When playing CS:GO, at some point my gun will start firing on its own without me touching anything.

I tried everything, verified steam files, verified game cache, completely removed the game from my system then reinstalled. At first I thought it was my mouse so I tested it with another, brand new, still got the same problem.

I keep shooting or knifing teammates, it's so f**ing annoying. Any ideas ?

Try posting in the discussion hub of the game as the problem has nothing to do with Steam itself. Posting in the proper section gets you help a lot faster.

Well, my problem was having an Xbox controller plugged into my machine. So I removed it and uninstalled the drivers.

This^ make sure you disable your touchpad, you're hitting it with your wrist

Earlier before that bug I've played with enabled touchpad and there's no such problem, but thank never the less.

It seems like the problem was in the cash of the game. I've checked cash of the game in the steam client and it's found a 1 error and fixed it. Also for sure I've installed a last version of asus gesture drives for keyboard and touchpad. Looks like the problem has gone. But need to play a couple days and watch for it. Thank you to all for feedback anyway.:2017stickydrink:
Literally just had this problem, gun fired randomly all its ammo, couldnt shoot. Was so confused. After 1 day of looking for causes I finally realised my controller on the desk was pressing buttons. L buttons are sensitive. Feel like and idiot now after going off in game saying the game was glitched.
