How to buy steam redeem code with paypal from Indonesia
Hallo friends, today there is new currency in steam, yap that's rupiah. It's currency from Indonesia. But when i try to add steam wallet in my account, i can't pay it with paypal anymore like before. There are no option there, it's just for visa, master card, e club point, and mol point. So how to buy steam wallet from paypal like before steam add rupiah currency? If anybody can help me it will really help

I usually purchase steam game via paypal. Now that suddenly they convert my wallet to rupiah, and removing the pay via paypal option, how do I add funds on my wallet (via paypal)?

is there any kind of way ? I dont mind going several bridges just to be able to use my paypal funds

You can use MOL or eClub points

I've tried register at MOL, add something to cart and check out for testing, the price on MOL bloated with more rupiah than it's listed on Steam.

Gauntlet Steam Price Rp 135999
MOL -> TOTAL: IDR 146878.92

If I had known this, I should've add some funds via paypal directly yesterday.

MOL point price for 5$ steam wallet code is very expensive. I must have IDR 70.000 balance or U$ 5.86 in my MOL account for buy 5$ steam wallet code, and not just that i must include more IDR 7.000 tax for buying IDR 70.000 MOL point voucher. So the conclution is i must pay $6.45 just for buy 1 pcs 5$ steam wallet. That's just too damn expensive.

Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Phillipines and Singapore now can pay in their currency, and you can pay cheaper than paying in USD.
(For Malaysians, goverment don't charge taxes on video games)

Since MOLPoints included PayPal as a top-up method, I recommend you using it, OP.

EDIT: I see... I don't know what to do then. :/

Facing the same problem.

Steam, please return the ability to pay with Paypal, most of my funds used to purchase games are in Paypal (from online freelancing), and I don't think MOL and e-Club Indonesia provide the option to pay with Paypal either (not to mention the marked up prices are very steep). :died:

add your paypal fund to your bank account if 1,5 million or more ,no fees , or buy using CC, no additional fee also, already tried buying using Indonesian CC

I can, but I'd prefer not to have to go through the roundabout way of adding my Paypal funds to bank account -> purchasing Steam Wallet Codes at a higher price, and I prefer not to add my gaming spendings to my credit card. ><

I don't get it, why Russians always reply to similar topics? (Yes, I know that Russians' price in Steam games are cheap, but they no need to reply in Russian, right? Unless they don't want let us to know)
