How long does it usually take a game to appear in your inventory after buying it?

I bought a game earlier this week and it hasn't appeared in my inventory. From what I know, they usually appear instantly.

My account page says I've paid for it and the purchase was successful but it's nowhere to be found... (I even got emails saying "Your Steam Gift Purchase was successful! ... ... You can find them in your inventory")
Does anyone know how long it usually takes for a game stuck in transaction to actually appear?

I've already asked (made a ticket on) Steam support and they've said zilch, after 3 days.

Support take time

Try to put some item on the market for a crazy amount of payment (like 100$) so no one will buy it, then remove it and see if you can see the item

@Black Blade Strangely, it reappears fine. The moment I cancelled the listing, it returned to my inventory.

Seems like the market items are working correctly: The moment I cancel my listing, it reappears in my inventory. But it still doesn't explain how my game hasn't appeared in my inventory yet.

So is it fixed? XD

And if it dose i think its a simple Inventory did not refresh thing, so it basically had it there, but forgot to tell the inventory part that show that its there
Putting things on the market and removing them forces it to look at then fix it self
