The Elder Scrolls Online - Imperial Edition Upgrade please help

hi I bought ESO - Imperial Edition Upgrade as a gift to myself because it would not allow me to purchase it because I do not own ESO through steam so I bought it as a gift and had it sent to my email I received the e-mail and clicked on (yes I have steam install your game now) it took me to the gift activation page I had a popup that said (do you want to allow this website to open a program on your computer?) it said it was from (store.steampowered.com) the program it want to launch for my computer was (steam client bootstrapper) it had an address (steam://streurl/account/ackgift/26a7480085d1e378) I clicked allow it said it had an error and so I tried again 15 min later and it said it was already redeemed. please help

You will need to contact support.

You can not use the Steam ESO upgrade on a non-Steam version of the game. Chances are the upgrade is now activated on your account, but is useless with out the game attatched to it. You were warned about it the first time, but chose to try and circumventa restriction that was put in place for a reason.

There is even a warning on the Upgrade's page:

Not sure as I have never user support. Just pick what ever seems the closest to what you feel it should be.
