Observe my profile and the "Year in Review" showcase is currently broken, so...
...maybe when the Winter sale properly starts they will update it?
Edit: PCGamer only wrote an article about it on the 26th of December last year, so you will have to wait a bit longer yet, presumably:
https://www.pcgamer.com/steams-year-in-review-serves-up-highlights-of-your-2022-playtime/
Why would they show your year in review, when the year is not over yet?
It's not broken perse. Click the drop down menu and choose 2022 and it will be fine.
The menu only needs 2023 to be released so we can use it.
It does not happen until the next year officially. The actual 2023 year actually has to finish. Wait until january 2024, then ask this same question again if it does not show up them.
It is just like when you pay your taxes. You don't pay for this year's taxes, you pay for the previous years taxes. You will understand when your older if you do not get that.
They released 2022 the day after Christmas last year.

And the Replay FAQ says it was from January 1st to December 14, 2022.
Oh, thanks for clarifying that. I thought it started on january 1st.
Oooh. I was wondering what was going on with that. Thanks!
Yes, i also have mine on switch.
Imagine, comparing video games to taxes.
Hate to disagree with you (not really) but, video games and multimedia don't share the same fiscal calendar as taxes. You'll understand that when you're older.
I agree. I think it'd be interesting to be able to show all the year reviews at the same time.
edit: aww they removed the top player metric
