My Ubisoft Account Was Hacked
Hello, about a month ago my Ubisoft account was hacked. The email, username, and password were completely changed, and the account has disappeared. I’ve opened several support tickets and sent multiple emails to Ubisoft, but I never received any help. I have all the necessary proof in my possession. All my Ubisoft-related games have become useless, and they were worth nearly a fortune.

As a last resort, I created a new account just to be able to play my games again, but now it asks for CD key activation and I don’t have the key. I can’t find it through Steam, and it’s not being provided. I also contacted Ubisoft support again, but they refused to help.
How can I resolve this issue?

You can only resolve Ubisoft account issues with Ubisoft.

Thanks for the input, I’m fully aware that only Ubisoft can resolve this. That’s why I’m trying to contact them, but I’m having serious difficulties reaching support and getting help.

That’s why I created this post here hoping someone who has experienced this before or can help might see it.

To recover access to your Ubisoft account:

From the Ubisoft account login page, select "Can't log in?".
Choose "I forgot my password".
Enter the email address you believe is associated with the Ubisoft account you would like to recover.
Complete the Captcha verification and select "Continue".
Select "Don't have access to your email?".
Select "Visit Ubisoft Help" and fill out the Account Recovery Form for further support.

You cannot link a new Ubisoft account to the same Steam account.

Hi, thank you very much for your response. I’ve actually tried that method several times, but unfortunately, I haven’t received any positive results.

Today, I noticed something interesting my phone number is still linked to the hacked Ubisoft account. However, I can’t use it to recover or log in to the account. I’m currently looking into whether that’s even possible, but so far, it doesn’t seem like Ubisoft offers that kind of recovery option.
I would search the contact to the head support
My account also hacked 4 days ago we can't do anything about that ubisoft 🥹

It’s honestly such a ridiculous situation.
It seems like they make rabies specifically to spite the company that buys them, so that people will run to them in droves to restore their accounts.
Both of my accounts are gone and ubisoft support doesn't help me

I'm not surprised because they don't help in any way yk.
My case: I have 10 years of evidence of communications with Ubisoft, including the 2015 email from when I created the account and all the purchases I've made up to now in 2025, both directly from Ubisoft and on Steam. Additionally, yesterday I received an email from Ubisoft telling me they logged into my account from India, when I've logged in from Mexico every day for the past 10 years. I've even been playing AC Origins online these past few days, so they should know my login location. They tell me that none of the evidence I provided is sufficient. Furthermore, they're responding to me within six minutes, telling me that several agents have already deeply reviewed all the evidence. I suspect they have an AI systematically denying requests. Has anyone had any luck or have any other ideas on what to do?

Do you have your recovery codes? They would of emailed them when you first made your account. I still have mine and printed up the paper so i never lose it. If you have them, you can show you own the account also.
i just got hack few week ago so I kept sending emails to Ubisoft, asking them to send an account recovery link to this email because my account’s email had been changed and I was locked out. I kept spamming emails like this for a while, and after about two weeks, I almost lost hope. Then Ubisoft contacted me and said they had reversed the email change back to my original one. After that, I used my original email to reset the password, and I was finally able to recover my account.
This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
