Hi Why cant I post any public pictures?

I did some googling, I think I have to spend money to unlock it. I was gifted the game by a co worker, but that doesnt unlock limited status it would seem. I am new to pc gaming and steam. So if I stick around I will have to toss some money at the problem. Money seems to make most problems go away lol.

Oh yea, you might have a limited account. At first i thought your account was set to private, but that also would explain it. You need to spend 5 dollars to unlock it. You cannot get the money gifted to you. You need to put the money on yourself and spend it. Easiest way is to go to a store and buy a steam card. It is very easy to do.

If a screenshot is public then it can be viewable by others even if the author's account visibility setting is set to private. In this case it's a limited account but for private account, just paste in the profile URL and then add /screenshots at the end and all public ones will be displayed.

As already been said in this thread, you have a limited account. You must either add $5 or more to your wallet or spend this amount or more in the Steam Store to remove this restriction.
