How to know if I can run some games on my old used laptop?
Because I had to have some computer..
Due to money situation I had to buy used laptop with integrated graphics..
LENOVO ThinkPad X1 Yoga 2nd
Windows 10 Professional (x64), Version 22H2, Build 19045.5737
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7600U CPU @ 2.80GHz
Turbo Mode supported, enabled
Clock Speed 0 3890.48 MHz (Core #0)
Clock Speed 1 3890.48 MHz (Core #1)
16 GB RAM
ntel(R) HD Graphics 620 VRAM: 1024 Mt.
Some minimum requirements are logic with mentioned core speed, ram and graphic cards required vram..
Others have processor names and numbers and graphic cards names and numbers..
Is there any other way to know if I can run some games besides googling every processor etc?

At a certain point if you don't know offhand, then you have to do some research to figure out where you are relatively to the system requirements. But... there is some fuzziness in system requirements.

Namely what do the minimum specs represent? Is it anything less than this and the game won't even launch? Do they mean you can run the game at lowest settings 720p and 30FPS? Do they mean you can run the game at 1080p and medium settings?

The answer can be any of the three, there isn't a concrete standard. So if you're running a low spec laptop sometimes it's easier to search something like youtube for videos where someone with similar specs has made a video for the game (or a set of games) showing off the performance. If the results seem acceptable, regardless of what the system requirements suggest you may be OK there.

I generally run high spec hardware, but lots of people in your boat ask these sorts of questions and I've had plenty of luck finding fairly equivalent performance videos for their hardware + game(s) they're looking at. All that remains then is to determine is what your specific standards are for a game's performance. And does the performance presented pass or fail your standards.

These are your main concerns with game requirements:

OS: Windows 10
RAM: 16GB

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7600U CPU
GPU: Intel(R) HD Graphics 620

I've separated them because the first two are easy enough to figure out.
The second two, not so much because they are unlikely to be specifically named.

One possible (imperfect) formula for determining if the CPU & GPU are strong enough: Use Passmark to retrieve the benchmark scores.

CPU Mark (for your CPU)[www.cpubenchmark.net]: 3,694
GPU Mark (for your GPU)[www.videocardbenchmark.net]: 922

Now use Passmark to look up the scores for minimum CPU and GPU requirements of any games you are interested in, and if they are the same or lower than your own scores, there's a good chance they will work (provided the OS and RAM requirements are also met).

Edit: Just watch out for VRAM requirements for the graphics because the embedded gpu will be borrowing it from system RAM.

Google, can i run it, or systemrequirementslab, it will give you an idea if you can run a game.

I could be mistaken only bc i happen to come across a yoga6 recently, but wouldn't yours lean towards being more of a tablet than a laptop? If you are looking to buy games for it I would stick to free and the curators that HotSauce provided. If you already own games it is just a matter of either good old fashion comparing your specs to the requirements or downloading and messing with settings.

Careful using Can i Run it. I found a virus on it before using it before.
Thank you all for multiple answers..
Which combined is the answer to my question..
also I do read the reviews below games and check the forum for possible
user problems and answers..
Thank you again for your help:steamhappy:
