How to repair corrupted file that in bad sector
Okay, quick story, I have a nvme SSD that I knew it has a bad sector issue after I bought it 3 months, but I have this drive only and I could not take it to RMA because my job, so I ignored the issue around 3 years and it still working.

But I know my CK3 file has corrupted by bad sector because once I played it, My PC had restarted suddenly, then I noticed the data error count had increased around 200 at Crystaldiskinfo.

So, I stopped to play CK3 around a year and data error did not increase so fast (1-2 error in a month now) anymore, but I don't want to give up the game so thinking about save it.

I just want to ask about, will those corrupted file get repaired if I verify game file at steam library or uninstall / reinstall the game, because I saw someone tried to reinstall GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- but failed with the "corrupt disk" error code in Reddit.

Sorry for my bad English because I'm not a native English speaker.

I mean it sounds you have a faulty drive that's getting more faulty. You may have tolerated the issue for a while, but that's not some guarantee forever. And from a practical point of view rather than trying to box with your faulty drive, you should replace it with a working one.

Ideally you should have replace it while it was still under warranty, or you should check if it is still under warranty and get it replaced.

Otherwise I dunno, sounds like you'd want to try and exclude bad sectors from use, and I don't know how many people realistically are determined to keep using faulty drives.

And it sounds like it's a matter of time before you hit some Windows update or other issue that's afflicted by a similar issue, or maybe someday you'll go to boot up and your OS will fail and you'll be asking how to fix that.

I mean good luck on your improvising, but I'm going to restate I think you should just replace the drive rather than fight with it's faults.
not much you can do.....back up what you can now and get a new drive....more sectors will go bad and soon so many will be gone the PC wont boot.....

the fact is this PC is around 5 years and basically it can't run Monster Hunter Wilds, so I have to buy a new one in a few months anyway, I just try to repair my CK3 until I buy a new PC only.

I knew, that why I don't play CK3 after I noticed it, I just attempted to avoid bad sectors and sealed it with CK3, but I don't want to buy a new SSD before I buy a brand new PC

You can buy a new disk now and move it to a new PC. If you don't want to that's fine. You might need to wait for that new PC. Although maybe you could look at resizing the disk and possibly getting the bad sectors in the unpartitiined space. But I'm not sure what software might let you identify and micromanage the disk like that. I don't think most disk utilities are designed with trying to limp a faulty disk along.

well, thanks for your advise, I will consider to buy a new SSD immediately, but it seems I should not touch those corrupted file until I get it.
Is there a reson check disk in windows is not used. ( there is no other windows system tool )

You can try Brand hard drev support page, but i doubt they have tool for things, other then test disk, if they even made such or just use windows check disk tool app.

Many year a ago I had a corrupted HDD too, and someone told me use the check disk command to fix it, it spent me a whole day and my HDD was dead immediately after that, that why I don't trust that thing anymore. :(

Yeah that is what can happend, disk burn out was quite normal in the past.

And that change nothing there is no other tool, ( still your problem to have backup of data )
no one here will say such to you , but i will,

Any helper here can tell you even new disk can go byebye within warranty such is seen before. ( what you do here, ends herr, i boubt any will tell you any diffrent, there is no app mabe buy software compare that can fix what check disk can not, ( old reformet every sector is more a confrim sector by sector, and disk still need to be empty. )

So you see there is no FiX other then check disk.

Hard core advice
Feel free to buy new disk, most do that, more a stop the use of a disk that show signs of burnout. ( yuo dont trus a Boot disk with data anymore , that drve is a game slave disk only now. best advice many do today ) you just waiting for drev go burnout then play a game.

ppl with server and pro game pc, will never trust a disk that do that anymore, it will not be a vital boot disk or system or data you cant lose, this is fact. not even talk about it.

Correlation doesn't necessarily equal causation. If chkdisk "killed" your HDD it was going to fail imminently. It's not something you could have controlled. You're letting your imagination run amok.
See even nullable agree, things can burnout no matter what you do, its also here i tell you that disk will never have a 100% trust factor by you anymore, its reduce to a slave game disk and yuo will not cry then its time for it to garbage can ( hard drev heaven where the heck that is )
i have seen my old 1.6terabye drev go many years after alot of clicking and noise, but hey it was a WD so they had even better stay alive brand even back then.

Thanks everybody, it seems I have no choice to buy a new one, but anyway, I will not try to repair my game on this disk, just wait for the new one.
