Ideally you should have replace it while it was still under warranty, or you should check if it is still under warranty and get it replaced.
Otherwise I dunno, sounds like you'd want to try and exclude bad sectors from use, and I don't know how many people realistically are determined to keep using faulty drives.
And it sounds like it's a matter of time before you hit some Windows update or other issue that's afflicted by a similar issue, or maybe someday you'll go to boot up and your OS will fail and you'll be asking how to fix that.
I mean good luck on your improvising, but I'm going to restate I think you should just replace the drive rather than fight with it's faults.
the fact is this PC is around 5 years and basically it can't run Monster Hunter Wilds, so I have to buy a new one in a few months anyway, I just try to repair my CK3 until I buy a new PC only.
I knew, that why I don't play CK3 after I noticed it, I just attempted to avoid bad sectors and sealed it with CK3, but I don't want to buy a new SSD before I buy a brand new PC
well, thanks for your advise, I will consider to buy a new SSD immediately, but it seems I should not touch those corrupted file until I get it.
You can try Brand hard drev support page, but i doubt they have tool for things, other then test disk, if they even made such or just use windows check disk tool app.
Many year a ago I had a corrupted HDD too, and someone told me use the check disk command to fix it, it spent me a whole day and my HDD was dead immediately after that, that why I don't trust that thing anymore. :(
Yeah that is what can happend, disk burn out was quite normal in the past.
And that change nothing there is no other tool, ( still your problem to have backup of data )
no one here will say such to you , but i will,
Any helper here can tell you even new disk can go byebye within warranty such is seen before. ( what you do here, ends herr, i boubt any will tell you any diffrent, there is no app mabe buy software compare that can fix what check disk can not, ( old reformet every sector is more a confrim sector by sector, and disk still need to be empty. )
So you see there is no FiX other then check disk.
Hard core advice
Feel free to buy new disk, most do that, more a stop the use of a disk that show signs of burnout. ( yuo dont trus a Boot disk with data anymore , that drve is a game slave disk only now. best advice many do today ) you just waiting for drev go burnout then play a game.
i have seen my old 1.6terabye drev go many years after alot of clicking and noise, but hey it was a WD so they had even better stay alive brand even back then.
