Steam error code: 105, -118

Pc has connection to internet I've reset my wifi a few times double checked ethernet cable. Keep getting the same error code any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Do you have access to both wifi and ethernet like you said in your post? Have you tried it both with Wifi and ethernet cord connected physically to your pc seperately? Does it happen with both connection types?

OP first you need to learn google steam error code list, then you tell us why it is so.
i already google it, you explan to us how that happend.

we are steam user here, we dont judge you , yes we can but whats the point doing it . then we are steam user here with no power to do anything about it.

I don't have access to wifi with my current mobo only ethernet sadly. I meant I reset the modem my apologies

we are steam user here, we dont judge you , yes we can but whats the point doing it . then we are steam user here with no power to do anything about it.

Topically 105 is for connectivity errors. Similarly with 118 I have googled the codes and have followed the clearing of dns cache and windows cache I've changed dns server and still no progress. Just confused is all my apologies in advance.

and make sense if they are right why you will never get it to work before you do things agree to SSA and get 105 fixed.

atleast we are agree the codes matter, and why you have issue.

as i and other might think, thats logic you will not get online. ( this is steam support area ) as user here nothing to fix with it. you need help with and through steam support ticket.

You can try reinstall steam over current , to see if that Trigger a SSA and you can accept steam term, got no other idea. ( same as game devs terms , or you not allowed to on game server, this could be seen as same on steam i bet.

Will do as soon as I can. I'm just confused because isn't ssa something you agree to while making your steam account? So I'm confused how I've been able to use steam for months now if that wasn't agreed to. Will definitely reinstall steam when in back to my desktop aswell as retrying to clear cache

Exatly this is why i think what the heck is going on here SSA issue with a banned ip adr.
only steam support and you have a clue what this is about.

and yes you dont have to tell us a thing in what you do, unless you want to give info why it is so, so next steam user or helper here know , and this still end up with only steam support can undo/remove ip ban adr.


As i said only you have the info on why it is so then talk with steam, and you could help next steam user with do not do this or whatever it is steam think going on here, or mistake, again we are not your judge and jury.

i can list atleast 10 things from EULA steam could have done, and thats why i ask you how the heck did you get them 105 and 118 error.
