Samorost 1/2 on family account
Yo,
I've got steam setup with family sharing and my son just finished Machinarium (top game btw), on the child account. I own Samorost 1/2 on the parent account which I have enabled for share with the child account. However, when I log into the child account I can't see it. It's not in Library, nor can I search for it on the store.

Can anyone offer some explanation?

Couple of thoughts:
- child account runs in big picture mode. Perhaps the game isn't supposed? Something something controller support?
- it's marked as mature for some reason (I think there's smoking?)

Thanks

Maybe the game does not support family sharing? Check the store page and see if it mentions it on the store page.
Samorost 1 is free and excluded by default.

I don't know why 2 doesn't show.

:nkCool:
Thanks for the replies

I thought perhaps free games were excluded from sharing, but even when I got to the store page using the child account I can't even see them to "add to library"!?

Store page says family sharing is available (for 2) but I just can't make it appear in the child account.
For anyone who stumbles across this - this issue was big picture automatically filters out games that didn't have controller support, so they don't appear in the store even when you specifically search for them. You can turn this off in the store search options
