Community ambassador badge: "post a video"

I want to complete that requirement as the title say, I have a small clip of about 5 seconds from a game that I recorded with the new steam recording feature, but when I access the video page, I can't find where to "post it" so to speak. How can I complete this badge then? Or how to post that video?

I think you post it in your content on your profile page. Other than that, the old method was to upload the video to your youtube channel, link your personal youtube channel to steam, and that is how you got it.

I think with this new system, it should allow you to post your video you take in steam recording to the content in your profile page though, or at least it should in theory.

The badge task predates the new Steam recording feature, you have to do it through Youtube.

Should it not be updated to work with the newer steam recording system then? Does anyone have access to steam beta and see if they make it a updated function for the steam recording? i believe it should be implemented.

Everything still goes through YT uploads after linking their YT account.

Valve hosting the recordings permanently may never happen. And yes, recordings are deleted from the servers after some time. Typically a few weeks/month.
