How to make my guide public?

I have created a guide for a game but after publishing it, but it is only visible to my steam friends. A bar at the top tells me as much: “Current visibility: Friends-only This item will only be visible in searches to you, your friends, and admins.”

The “change visibility” option in the owner controls only offers three options: “Friends-only” which is currently selected, “Hidden” or “Unlisted”.

Furthermore, if I try to change the visibility to either of the two other options, it fails with the following error message: “Unable to change visibility There was a problem changing the visibility of this item (15). Please try again later“. This behavior is consistent both if I access my guide through a web browser or the steam client.

It has been 24 hours since I published the guide, so I doubt waiting will solve the issue.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Error 15 is analysis. It is currently stuck in analysis. You have to wait for it to pass through analysis and no one can speed up that process.

It can take hours or even days for it to get through analysis.

i was also busy with guide yesterday. I also received the code 15 error. with my searching, i found i had to wait some time. you can wait anywhere from couple minutes to couple hours, one person i found said 24 hours

What features are unavailable?

Limited user accounts are prevented from accessing several features on Steam, including but not limited to:

• Creating public Steam guides
