Do achievements earned offline, show after getting back online?
That is, without you having to redo the task to earn the achievement again?. And does it show permanently afterwards? I heard it did not before. But then it appears to do so now, at least on one game. Is it game specific set up by the devs or something else? Thank you.

Depends on the game really.

Most games will indeed earn achievments offline and simply update your online stats when you next connect.

There are some weird examples of games that handle achievements a bit different, so it can vary.

For example, The Binding of Isaac unlocked a load of achievements for me next time I ran the game from a previous play when I was offline. It didn't unlock them at all while offline.

But generally yes, they will simply update any online data when you next get online. You shouldn't need to earn them again.
