Trying To Remember a Tower Defense Game Help

Hoping this is in the correct forum, but I am trying to remember a game I played over 10-15 years ago. Bear with me, but it was a tower defense game where you have only 4-5 different type of robot type creatures and each level the AI had the same 4-5 enemies as you. You had to try and hold some areas too.

Can t remember the name of the game. I tried searching google for Tower Defense with no luck and couldnt remember the game name or see it comes up. Any ideas on the game I am talking about?

may be you should use steam tag "tower defence" and so check the store ( tag are here for that purpose ).
i have a few in mind but your describ is , sorry, too vague ...

Sorry its all I remember about the game. Its really old, and you have different modes like capture the flag, and tower defense and only 4 types of creatures, like alien walkers....cant remember the name. I tried the internet with no luck

I think this game goes back to around the 2000s. I tried google searches, steam searches and cant see it anywhere. sigh

All I can think of around this time is something like Tower Wars.

I remember buying the physical game back then but I hated it after a while so I sold it to a game store that allowed trade in for cash along with other games. Cant remember the game name but if I ever find it again ill post it
