If you refund within 24 hours the transaction is cancelled but the hold remains until your bank, credit card company processes it.
Banking days are Monday to Friday.
Yeah, it did. All the transactions have hit my account. This is a credit card and the available balance has not gone back up.
Some of these transactions were over 24 hours. The timing is what I am curious about. It has been 10 banking days as of today. Appreciate you trying to help.
Cool. Nothing that has been provided actually answers my question, you just seem to want to get on a high horse about how smart you are for some reason. I am asking questions, receiving answers, and have not received an answer that satisfies the question. I didn't "yeah but", I simply have not been provided any answers that fit the criteria of my question, as all the variables above are met by my transactions:
It has been 10 business days.
It has been 7 days.
It is not international.
Some transactions I requested a refund within 24 hours, some after 24 hours.
And lastly, none of the funds have been returned to my available credit on Capital One.
Your snideneness is not needed, appropriate, or appreciated. Have a good one, either way.
EDIT: Removed the user's name and replaced with my own, as they removed their comment. Keeping the comment and my response as it may be useful for others to know the whole situation.
If you have had confirmation that Steam have accepted your refund request(s) then you need to speak to Capital One to ask why they have not adjusted your balance accordingly.
If you haven't had that confirmation from Steam then you need to speak to Steam support.
