Stick drift (?) only triggering after plugging in 5 minutes later
TLDR: My controller is brand new and its theme'd as a Xbox controller, however regardless on what I do, minutes after plugging my controller and using it a little while my control stick starts to act up. A certain angle if I move upleft on the stick, it doesn't go all the way upleft causing my character to stutter and walk if i hold on that angle.

I'm not sure if it is stick drift or some kind of bug, but if i plug my controller back in, it stops but not for long. I've tried looking this issue up everywhere and found nothing similar to what i have been dealing with.

you can try this:

Clean the Analog Stick: Use compressed air to blow out any debris around the stick. Avoid using liquids.

Recalibrate: Look for calibration options in your system settings (e.g., Windows calibration tool or console settings).

Test on Another Device: Plug the controller into a different PC or console to see if the issue persists.

Update Firmware: Check if there’s a firmware update for your controller.

Contact Support: If none of the above works, reach out to the manufacturer or retailer for a replacement or repair, as it might be a defect.

This issue only happens on pc. I tried using this controller on my switch and there has yet to be any problems and thats what leads me to believe its a software issue or something

I recently tried to uninstall the controller drive and reinstalled it but that didn't fix the issue either.
Again this isn't a physical drift issue air can or anything cleaning the stick does not affect the stick issue. The drift only happens minutes after plugging in my controller
Does it happen with any other games too?

Does this happens on all USB ports?
Are you using an extension USB cable?

yes in the stick dead zone settings i can see when im moving the stick upleft theres a little indent that the tracker makes like a small space in a shape of a U that won't move all the way to the border

Hmm..could be a factory defect. Since this controller is new, if you still have the receipt you could return it to the place you purchased and try to get a different one, then see if same issue happens on that one too.

You said in initial post it was brand new. Now your saying it is 2 months old. At least post concise information or nobody will be able to help you correctly on here. If you post incorrect information, do not expect to get good help on here since your information is inaccurate.

In that case, contact the developers of the controller and email their support or support forum about the issue and see what they say on their end since it is technically not "NEW". If you mentioned it was not new on first post, i would of suggested this information first. Because you did not, you wasted my time and your time.

Sorry that I didn't consider that my controller isn't considered a new controller then. If I'm wasting your time don't bother replying in the first place and being a ♥♥♥♥ about it
