SOLVED! How to uninstall game files after deleting & reinstalling steam on Mac?
Today Steam wouldn't connect to the servers. I tried a few times, I waited a bit & tried, I restarted my Macbook & tried again, I signed out & back in, but all failed. Then I found someone else who had the same issue & the solution was this...

Open Finder, click Go. Press the Option key and go to Library. Open Application Support. Delete the Steam folders. Go to Applications, then delete the Steam app. Re-install, let the app update, and then you can log in.

So I did that & steam now connects again. However, none of my games will open & I can't find a way to uninstall them. The games already take up a couple of hundred Gb & no room to try installing again. It just says "Insufficient memory".

Can any one help?

Maintenance Tuesday. I would wait till tomorrow to do anything like this.
Cheers. I managed to fix it. I had my old files still in the recycle bin, so reverted back to those & restated the Mac. All working again.

Note to self. Steam isn’t reliable.
Mark this as solved then. You can either put it in the post forum title, or click the button on the right of the post and click "mark this as answered".
