Repurchasing Throne and Liberty DLC After Deleting Amazon Games ID Account
Hey everyone,

I recently deleted my Amazon Games ID account and created a new one. Now I'm having trouble repurchasing the Throne and Liberty DLC on Steam, it says that I already have it. Is there a way to remove the DLC on steam? Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Let me try to explain as EU citizen and Under the EU Consumer law on digital goods, they need to comply with me request and this is why.

In the email, they stated, "Closing your Amazon Games ID permanently deletes your account and any game data tied to it." However, that isn't the case. Steam still retains the DLC game data linked to my account. After creating a new Amazon Games ID and linking my Steam account to it, the DLC that I purchased in October 2024 wasn't removed.

Since Amazon Games save data isn't stored on Steam, I can't recover anything. To repurchase the DLC, Steam needs to remove the DLC from my account first.
This is not a steam issue. Please contact Amazon support. They can help you with this issue.

What closing your Amazon account does not do is unlink the 2 accounts and the linking is always done on the other end, not on Steam's end.

You should have unlinked them through Amazon before deleting your Amazon account.

DLC is not personally identifiable data so does not come under the data act and there's nothing in the sale of digital goods act that's relevant.

Other way what prevent you from right click that game and de-selected them dlc you don't want activated, do know the consequence of save game issue and online all in one product patch can give issue with remove content.

"Repurchasing Throne and Liberty DLC" also make no sense if you already own it to the game.
