extra copies of portal and portal 2

so i done what it looks like most of you have done one time or another, i got the two portal games, fell in love with them and then when i found there was a bandle pack of games from the same people - aka half life and so on - i jumpped at it. it told me i got two extra copies - one of each portal game - and so i thought i'd try gift it to my mum when she gets her new laptop next week. probblem though I dont know where to find them? i think i know how to gift - go on the tab "games" and click on manage gifts right? - but when i did that i couldnt find them on there.

where are these extra copies? I really want to get my mum into this because i dont know her very well and when i let her have a go on it before she was giggleing the whole time having a blast.

nope not coming up? it was the bundle pack you see when you look at the store page at the bottom, its a deal or something. it told me when i bought it that it had given me two extra copies? its not in my inventory i've checked a bunch of times

Portal is not listed as having extra copies in that support article. I can find no reference to extra copies in either of the portal game's pages.

If you purchased the pack from a 3rd party sight, then you need to take it up with them as Valve's policy on extra copies is stated.

Also what bundle was it specifically? I can't find any bundle that contains the portal games and other game by valve besides the valve complete pack

nope it was that pack, i only had the portal games for it to make extra copies out of. I'm getting a bit annoyed i cant find them now because it looks like they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, everyone else who has done this dosent seem to be having any probblems

Couldn't have been that pack, as Forcen said, you are missing several games from it. When you buy a pack, all the games are added to the account. You don't pick and choose.

So you bought them recently? Check your email for the email you got when you bought it.

As Forcen said, it doesn't matter if you installed them. The purchase of a pack (from Steam) would add them all to your library instantly. Installing them would just allow you to play them.

im playing half life right now, it is on my library, all of the budle had been added to my lib. the only thing missing are the portal game copies? =/ i really dont know whats going on

Your right. I see the rest now. I had forgotten there were other pages.

Either way, the bundle does not come with extra copies of the Portal games as per the article I had linked.

This says that you don't get extra copies of Portal when you buy the Valve Complete Pack.

no i had portal and portal 2 before i got the bundle. when i was buying them it told me i had them already and that i could gift the extra copies to people but i have no idea where they are
