Dawn of War after Gamespy Shutdown

As many of you probably already know, the gamespy servers have been shut down. I have the disk versions of Dawn of War Gold (Dawn of War 1 and Winter Assault), Dawn of War Dark Crusade, and Dawn of War Soul Storm. These games ran on the Gamespy servers as far as I know, so now I cannot play online with them. The steam versions have their own servers right? If so is there a way I can get these versions onto steam without having to purchase them?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I think there is a way to maybe set it to LAN play.. and by using lan Bridger[www.lanbridger.com] Or Evolve[www.evolvehq.com] or Hhamachi[secure.logmein.com] you may be able to play no?
(i do not own the game.. but i heard on outher games some do it now)

So with gamespy being shut down, does that mean all games that used the Gamespy servers are no longer able to be played through MP? Are some companies or games having a back up plan put into motion?

I think some Devs will have some backup working on.. even that many of them are old games.. so there is less chance of it to happen

The LAN option no longer exists for me in the current version

There is also GameRanger[www.gameranger.com] that works in a similar fashion to GameSpy Arcade.
