i lost mirrors edge how do i get it back?

along time ago i got a 750$ nvidia video card it came with a code for mirrors edge

i put the code in steam i could play it

than in 2012 i went on my steam and it wasent there

so i tryed puting the code in again in activate a product on steam
the code dident work

but all my other games are on my steam but not mirrors edge i realy realy miss the game
and i realy realy wanna play it

someone help please!

Ofcourse you can't activate the game twice. If it's activated once it should be tied to your account. You can see the whole list of purchases and activations in your Account Details page.

:/ you could check your library again and see if it's listed under all games, maybe you didn't see it because you were looking at installed games only.

Alternatively you could go to the game's store page and see if there's a "play now" button instead of "add to cart" button. And use that to install the game.

If you activated Mirrors Edge in the past, and it's not on this account, then yes, you do have another account. You probably just forgot it a couple years ago and made a new one with a similar name or email address. Possibly because you forgot or misremembered the name.

Heard this many,many times before. When it all got sorted, every single one of those people had, in fact, activated it on another account.

Well, it could be differently registered, as it's a game given away with hardware, and not bought in the store...

Either way, if the game is listed under your activations in your Account Details page, you should just have it in your games library...

Seems like something only Steam Support can fix.

In cases of having it under a different account.
:/ well, you could try retrieving that old account at support. But you won't be able to transfer the game to your current account... at least you'd still be able to play it.

EA indeed also has their own game client; Origin. https://www.origin.com/

Maybe you registered it there instead?

Which is very likely. I got Assassin's Creed III with my 560, and it was a Uplay code, not Steam code.

So much for this user knowing "for a fact" that he had the game on Steam...
