Is there a way to quickly select and remove friends?

Sounds harsh, but i have like 300 friends now, probably 30 of which i know.
I want to clean out that list.

Click on friends and then on manage friends, tick the boxes of people you want rid of and then click remove friend. You can select more than one at a time.

Cheers! I heard of the manage friends menu but i could never find it, where do i click from the friends part?

You can find the button in the upper right corner, right above the list of friends.

@Corona 2020, Still same bug. Well, at least there is an "all" button there to select all friends, unselect a few, done. 240FPS @ 240HZ

Steam application -> Friends tab -> Add friend... -> Your friends (1st on the list) -> Manage friend list.
