how to uninstall games when windows was reinstalled ?

sorry, I have another problemo.
I have steam games which I store on an external disk D:
I reinstalled windows on C:
But the games don't appear in the microsoft "add or remove programs" list.
So how can I uninstall them properly ?

Open steam and delete them from your library, or navigate to your steam folder and delete them manually.

If you reformat your Windows, there will no be trace left if you remove the games' directories. Simply delete them.

I think I found a better way, when intalling a game, it creates in registry :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\
So I can make the same entries for other games, so they appear in the list and i can uninstall them cleanly...Just the number is different for each game.

Weird, I uninstalled dota2 and it still appears in steam, but there is a grey button "install" instead of "play".
