Alice: Madness Returns Bug

So I just purchased this game and I'm stuck on the "umbrella" portion. The umbrella does not activate. I tried going through the input and manually change the binding key, but it doesn't help. Does anyone know what to do?

Go to C:\Users\YourComputerName\Documents\My Games\Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config

Find a file called AliceControlLayout and open it in notepad.

Hit Ctrl+F and type in Name="E",Command

You'll see a command line that says KeyBindArray1=(Name="E",Command="TriggerBlock true| OnRelease TriggerBlock false")

Put a space after "Triggerblock true and that should fix your umbrella issue. For me, this not only fixed my umbrella but also any changes to keys I wasn't able to do before. I'm now able to switch my keys around at my own discretion
