News from Library gone?
Previously when I opened my library, I saw game news for the games I owned at the top. But now it's gone, and I can't figure out how to get it back. This is very important to me, how do I get it back?

I already got that problem previously and got it again... Deleted cache, deleted steam browser history, restarted steam... It's supposed to work but nope, not this time.

Steam really needs to include an option for this -_-

Saw people saying it's supposed to come back automatically when an update to one of your game is posted.

If anybody knows...

I'm glad it's gone, never wanted it there to begin with... but I know it's just another ♥♥♥♥-update by Valve. Fairly certain it will return...

This made me panic too because I rely on it to keep up to tabs on lot of my favorite games. I hope they can fix this soon because it's difficult to keep track of them all otherwise.

Just a heads up that you can view these news posts that usually show up there by hovering cursor over the "Store" and clicking "News" which will pretty much give you list of news for your games and it has filters. It's at least a way to see what would be there for time being.

News are back for me in library! Just returned after deleting the web browser cache in Steam settings and restarting Steam. I tried this 30 minutes ago and it didn't help then, but now it worked. After restarting Steam you have to wait a couple of minutes before the "What's new" section is displayed again.

I just want a toggle to hide it on or off if you choose and the same with the url bar, Steam has a lot of cluttered space.
Those are opinion based, but the repetitive buttons and two bars at the top that could be one bar are what I really mean by "cluttered" :er_sad:

That has been suggested many times in the past. It isn't likely to happen as developers rely on it to inform users of some things. At least it can be restricted to only show updates.

Would be nice though.

I know not everyone likes the What's New section (it should definitely an option), but I liked it. I hope they bring it back.
