First part is Security Firewall/antivirus or both, make steam.exe on allow list even game own .exe
The other is way more complicated browse to steam install folder and click game own executable does that trigger a crash msg.
and yes you might need to end task and try again or exit steam and restart it to be allowed to try again if you dont know what hang or crash app name is. ( so few games stay in memory as crashed after exit steam )
I mean you're aware that Suspended is an actual state in task manager right?
yes but i doubt you have taskout of the program on purpose. ( so yes blocking own game can lead to suspended for not to be allowed working, but im sure that dont count as suspended. )
Your Windows system is corrupt, not working properly. There's too many things this could be to answer without investigating it thoroughly.
It might be an anti-virus program or firewall stopping them from running. Check your anti-virus program and make sure it doesn't interrupt your games or Steam in any way.
It could also be that computer management process settings were changed and that's not letting them run.
If you've made no changes and your anti-virus or a firewall you have isn't blocking them re-install windows. Windows is corrupt. You can try the option to keep your data and just refresh system files but it's probably best to wipe everything clean and start fresh - especially if you never do any maintenance. There's a chance keeping any data you have will also keep whatever is causing this.

i would set that computer in a state that is similar to every one elses who play.
To get the obvious out of the way. Wouldnt wait a year to do that
What does task manager say about it now? Is it listed as running?
If it's listed as running maybe it's on another screen? That's possible even if you don't have another screen. Check windows display settings.
Also check to see, if task manager says it's running, if it's on a virtual desktop:
So OP can you confirm what steps you've tried of the suggestions thus far and what happened (if anything) each time?
Have you gone into your antivirus and checked to see if any of those games files or steam's files are being quaratined? If so, make exceptions for them.
That's sounding suspicously like either a motherboard failure or RAM failure - something fairly serious.
If you suspect it's RAM, that should be easier to test in that if you can get hold of a spare to beg or borrow, swap it out and see if it persists. But if it's something on that motherboard, you're going to be SOL.
