I cant acess steam Please HELP! (My last online 5 hours ago in app)

Please help me guys i need to acess steam but everytime it gives errors like "cant connect steam servers", "steam is having trouble connecting to the steam servers" Please help love all <3

Are you using a router or ethernet for your connection ?

If a router, then hook an ethernet cable up directly to your modem and your PC and bypass the router and test it again. Leave that hooked up if it does not work to keep troubleshooting.

You can get that message if you use the wrong password, sadly there has been ALOT of hacked accounts and getting your password and email addressed changed so you can't change it back correctly.. you could always submit a ticket... and wait a month or 2 for them to maybe address it and still not fix it... steam is failing the customers.

Those accounts were "phished" and not "hacked"...totally the fault of the user that fell for the phishing attempt and/or scam. And that is why it is taking "a month or two" as you mentioned above, because so many fell for the same old scam or its variant and now expect someone else to do something about it.

So its customers are actually failing Steam and not the other way around, as you said above.

The OP's issue/error can happen often with users that have connection problems and is not necessarily related to what you posted about.
