How Do I Complain To Steam
After having some issues with a game, then trying to solve the problem I have hit a dead end...

My support ticket was raised on 11th Mar and here I am 4 months later with no solution.

I have requested in the ticket how to complain to steam but it seams that your staff are un willing to give any details. I would like to know a Telephone number or email address or postal address. ANYTHING really so that I can make a true complaint.

Since it's an issue with a game, may I inquire which game and what kind of issues?

Perhaps regular users can help with this?

It should not fall down to users or forum members to fix an issue, thats what the ticket system is for. My purchase and contract is with steam and I expect them to deal with any issues. I only wish for a steam employee to give me details for complaining. p.s. I have no choice but to post this on here as there has been no response for so long and I dont see any other options.

Steam support is not the place to be looking for support of any other than Valve games. Support does not cover third-party games.

As it says, I only wish to know how to complain, if you all settle for the poor service this company provides. IM NOT GOING INTO EXACT ISSUES I HAD, what hope does the pc market have? If you cannot give me the details of how and where to complain please reply to someone else.

By a support ticket. That is the only way to contact Valve.

Valve is a flat company with no management to complain to.

There is always someone to complain to, are there no employees on this forum who can answer? They have managers somewhere? Their support ticket system is a joke.

Nope, no management to complain to. They are a purely flat company.

Valve employees very rarely reply on the forums.

The support ticket takes time, but typicaly works.

Note, if you ask for help you probably get sent back to the help site but if you just want to say something go ahead.

Now please tell us what the issue was, its kinda weird to be so upset about something a company did that you don't like but still so unwilling to share any details. We get kinda suspicious when we get so many people again misunderstand how support for games work in these forums.

Communicating via telephone and e-mail is not an option, let alone complaining.

No means no.

So either send them a brand-new ticket, or hold your peace forever. :DEALWITHIT:

What is the nature of the original problem?
EvilDelta Jul 21, 2015 @ 5:17pm
Mine was a game activation issue, the reason im so upset is because of the time its taken, the automated text theyve, the fact that they flaunt the sales of goods. What happend to customer service and help with products you sell. All this backwards and forwards between different parties tbh is a joke. Sent back and forth, and yes I understand you read flat organisation. Deal is, there is not such thing. They have a manager, they have md, they have hr. THEY just seem to not want a complaints department. DONT get sucked into to thinking that your statutary rights mean nothing. They are breaking mine. All i want is to complain, is that too much to ask I think not.

What is a game activation issue? What does that mean? What game?

After this time I just need to know where to complain?

Complaining is not a right. There is no law saying that a company has to have a complaints department or accept complaints.

If you did not buy the game on Steam, then you need to take it to who ever you bought the game from.

If you bought it on Steam, and it requires a 3rd party activation, then you need to contact those who are responsible for the 3rd party activation.

You have been told where to complain. That is the only place to do so at.

We can either try to help solve the issue or direct you to where you may be able to do so, that is it.

It's not your right to request a high-ranking member of a company just to complain.
