번역 관련 문제 보고
(1) Run your antivirus suite's INTENSIVE scan, in Windows safe mode if you can. Let it run (it will take some time, maybe 40 minutes or more) and remove any rubbish. Reboot. Run it again and if it removes nothing further, proceed to step (2). If it does remove further stuff, reboot and do it again.
(2) Download and run Mallwarebytes' Antimalware. Let it run and remove any rubbish. Reboot when it's finished and run it again. If it removes nothing further, go to step (3). If not, reboot and do it again.
(3) ONLY NOW should you change your passwords to your associated email address and your Steam account.
(4) Tell everyone on your friends list that you've been infected and to look out for bogus links from you. If they've clicked on them, send them here. That is if you clicked a link but if you were scammed then it's a different story.
Lastly, to repeat, you MUST DO THESE STEPS PRECISELY IN ORDER or changing your passwords will serve no purpose. If there's mallware left, you'll just tell the scammer your new details. Just changing your email isn't gonna make a difference you need to do these scans first. Cuz you never know! Don't fall for it again.
1. Your profile is private, so why should I trust you?
2. Did all that already a week ago. Also, the new Steam mobile security is out and I changed my inventory settings so that only MY FRIENDS can trade me.
I didn't. I never even clicked on ANY links.
I am a noob at this. Where can I find the "Anti-virus" for the first step?
Which one do you use?
Oh cool! Valve actually just fixed my problem with the phone to account security. Also, just did everything you asked and it also got rid of my adward BS.
Thank you so much!
We've seen so many users get burned thinking their PC is secure only to come back months later and find out all their personal information was swiped along with their Steam account depsite their respective anti-virus programs not detecting anything.
Already have it from awhile back, and it works like a charm!
