community guidelines question regarding censorship and pedophilia

it's been over a week now with nothing done about the people in this thread.

is it against steam's community guidelines in some way to be pro-censorship while accusing all who disagree/disapprove with censorship of being a pedophile?

and does playing as or wanting to play as a short character in a video game (where said characters are fictional and do not exist irl) make one a pedophile?

reporting the pro-censorship people who have spent over a week accusing people in the pso2 forum who disagree/disapprove of censorship (be it of that specific game or in general) of being pedos has resulted in...nothing.

thus far, they're free to continue doing this as much as they want with no intervention.

apparently everyone who wishes to play as a short character in Phantasy Star Online 2 is somehow a pedo if they disagree with censorship.

That's normal behaviour on the internet, unfortunately. People who disagree are automatically fanboys, shills, trolls, pedos, weebs, racists, whatever people can drum up to shut an opinion down.

Not to me, but it's a blurry line in legal respect. If a character has the look of a minor and gets put in sexualised positions, it's actually against the law in many countries. Yes, drawings and art depictions also are against the law. The "It's not real" argument doesn't fly in court.

Reports are handled by the moderating team of the developer. If they don't care about it, you can try to escalate it to Steam support.

However, in my experience when threads get that size, one will find that usually both sides have said wrong things/insults and such.

I was accused of pedophilia in that forum, and not only there, but in other forums in the past as well. I've always tried to report, but never got justice.

It's basically a troll discussion, the OP from that discussion on PSO2 clearly knew it will cause flame. TBH the discussion on PSO2 should get removed, or locked at least as it contributes nothing to the game.

People that accuse others being whatever just because they don't agree with them is basically trying to start a flame war, and purposely trying to target others into keep it going. There some people that in the PSO2 discussion that lack the the understanding about many things such as fictional unrealistic video game versus reality in the real world, and the fact that they fail to realize short people actually do exist, and just because someone making a character they want in a video game does not make anyone that people claim to be, they don't need to justify, nor do they need to provide a reason for making any custom character in a video game that the end of story.

But to keep it short, this is not good to talk about really, partly pointing fingers, and other reasons.

I suggest don't feed those people in that PSO2 discussion anymore as they're not going to listen, nor care about anything. And I hope that discussion just get lock for how dumb it really is.

You missed read, I'm talking about the OP from the other discussion, being a troll. Not calling you a troll.

You can report him for starting a flame war, but it up to the game forum mods/devs to take action, or not.
