No, the Community Market only accepts Steam Wallet funds. Can you use the card to purchase funds though Steam?
I was thinking that, and bought myself S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Pripyat without a hitch so, I have no clue why I can't buy anything on the market. I did add the funds and then tried to purchase a Name Tag for TF2 and it wouldn't let me.
Steam Support > Trading and Market Restrictions
This is to avoid someone using a stolen/fake card to buy from other players on the market, then have a charge back. issued by the card company.
-Ninja'd by a bus. :-P
hw can i add funds to steam wallet wit debit card
plz help me
After 7 days, the new payment method restriction will be lifted, but the card will not be trusted, so you will get the same 7 day restriction the next time you use the card, until you verify it.
Yes, they do, and the CVV(2) and expiration date are required to purchase from Steam. You cannot use a debit directly with Steam, you will need to fund another payment method like PayPal and use that to purchase from Steam.
If you are purchasing in the client, try in the browser, and vice versa. Disable any VPNs or proxies. Try purchasing in big picture mode. If you still cannot purchase, register a support account and open a ticket.
Note that in some cases, your credit card company may put a 'hold' on funds in your account, but you will not be charged. After correcting any errors in the information displayed below, please try your purchase again.
