Steam Remote Play keystroke error.. HELP!
I often play games on my laptop using Steam Remote Play.
Today, I connected to use Steam Remote Play, but found an abnormality.
I didn't input the keyboard, but when I connect Steam Remote Play, the ESC key is input every 4 seconds.

I tried to connect using Chrome Remote Desktop, but no abnormality occurred.

This only happens when Steam Remote Play is connected. Help.

What other peripherals have you connected? As this sort of thing can happen if something connected via, say, USB is playing up.

Try removing everything from your USB connections, see if it fixes it, and if it does add things back one by one until it shows up again, or it disappears.

I tried forcibly removing both the server and the client input devices, but the ESC key keeps repeating.

And is that absolutely everything USB connection-wise?

I have the same problem since the last update. Worked fine two days ago. I removed every input controller from the host but it did not solve the problem. Only happens with steam. All other methods are working.

I also have this problem for the past few days, I believe since the last Windows 11 Insider *Dev* build which my host computer is on, but perhaps it's another problem. Waiting for a new build hopefully this week to see if it's fixed. This doesn't happen on normal desktop or over Chrome Remote Desktop or Microsoft RDP; only in Steam Remote Play.

There's been a number of posts I've seen with Win 11 users having similar issues, so it could be quite likely to be something there. As to more info on exactly what and how to deal with it, that's something I can't tell you.
