Audio problems
Hi everyone!

Cant hear my character in any videogame, only npcs , effects and music. Youtube videos as well gives me distorted voice or very low voice when people are talking. Hope that anyone can help me. Ive tried all the Windows 10 solutions and uninstalled my audio drivers. Will Gabens wonderboys fix this issue for me? Thanks in advance. Im getting desperate, so if anybody comes up with the solution ill gift you Rocket League or any game at your choosing for 20 Euros.

check windows audio control panel
make sure its set to stereo or 5.1-7.1 depending on your speaker setup
and check realtek audio settings
disable all other effects and make sure its set to the correct output type
Yea check the Sound setup (Windows Playback)
as that sounds like it is set to 5.1/7.1 but you're only using 2.1 Stereo
As with 5.1/7.1, most games or movies (not YouTube) the voice is usually comes through the Center Channel; thus won't be heard if all u actually are using is a 2-channel Speaker/Headphone setup.

If using 2.1 setup, look for "Virtual Surround" in Enhancements as that will allow Games/Media using Surround Sound to sound more natural on 2.1 / Headphones.

set realtek as default audio device.
Sounds like either an audio driver is messed up or you have an audio channel messed up either physically like a bad connection (either external cable or even internal wire) or even as simple as a setting in your sound manager.

Do you use on board sound or a sound card? What kind of mobo? If you have a sound card, what kind of sound card?

It says that everything is working properly, i have a Realtek on board sound, MSI motherboard. I have no speakers, my headset is connected directly into the back of my computer. Could it be my headset? In Witcher 3 and Batman i can hear NPCs talking, music , sound effects. Its when f.eks Geralt speaks or Batman speaks i cant hear anything, neither the AI i have a conversation with. Youtube i can hear music , but not when people are talking, sometimes i can barely hear it. To mention i did upgrade to Windows 10, im sorry but my technical pc knowledge is very limited

Try another audio device like another headset, ear buds, or anything that would connect the same. If the issue persists, then you can rule out your headset. If it works with another audio device, then the issue would be something with the headset.
