make sure its set to stereo or 5.1-7.1 depending on your speaker setup
and check realtek audio settings
disable all other effects and make sure its set to the correct output type
as that sounds like it is set to 5.1/7.1 but you're only using 2.1 Stereo
As with 5.1/7.1, most games or movies (not YouTube) the voice is usually comes through the Center Channel; thus won't be heard if all u actually are using is a 2-channel Speaker/Headphone setup.
If using 2.1 setup, look for "Virtual Surround" in Enhancements as that will allow Games/Media using Surround Sound to sound more natural on 2.1 / Headphones.
Do you use on board sound or a sound card? What kind of mobo? If you have a sound card, what kind of sound card?
It says that everything is working properly, i have a Realtek on board sound, MSI motherboard. I have no speakers, my headset is connected directly into the back of my computer. Could it be my headset? In Witcher 3 and Batman i can hear NPCs talking, music , sound effects. Its when f.eks Geralt speaks or Batman speaks i cant hear anything, neither the AI i have a conversation with. Youtube i can hear music , but not when people are talking, sometimes i can barely hear it. To mention i did upgrade to Windows 10, im sorry but my technical pc knowledge is very limited
Try another audio device like another headset, ear buds, or anything that would connect the same. If the issue persists, then you can rule out your headset. If it works with another audio device, then the issue would be something with the headset.
You solved it for me , ive sent you a friend request... Just message me and write me what game you want for 20 euro/20 dollars and ill gift it to you
Glad I could help but so you know, I don't ever expect anything in return. I like to help :)
