8GB of RAM and my games still run under 30fps...
So, here I am, with my gaming PC (Intel i7, NVidea Ge-Force GTX 760, 8GB DDR3 memory RAM) and most of my games fail to go beyond 35 fps.

And I think I know why this is - becuase I haven't assigned more RAM to my games, but then I can't do that.
Does anyone know HOW to assign RAM?
Can Steam please implement this feature?

UPDATE (17:30 - 27/06/15):
Also note that this computer is under six months old.

EDIT...for us to try to go through every one of your programs and tell you what to disable and uninstall and what NOT to disable and uninstall is going to take forever...this is where you have to do some of the legwork yourself....use the internet to help you.

Checking processes is a last resort. The chances that any of the processes listed will be affecting gameplay is minimal.

Again, I find it most likely that you overestimate the performance of your PC and have set your game graphics settings too high to maintain 60 FPS.

But without more information there's no way to know. I still have no idea which games we're talking about.

HOLY....????? Man that is too many. Get rid of all that crap that does not need to run or that you do not need at all.

Start then msconfig and run. Hide all microsoft services box ticked. Check for drivers that you need to keep running and untick the others...you have to be careful as to what you disable here.
I honestly don't know which tasks are safe to disable. I wouldn't say I have a deep understanding of computer proccesses.
Disable all services except Steam, Microsoft/Windows and antivirus program.
Disable all autoexecs except antivirus.

Y'know, we can reenable if needed (don't disable what i said not to tho).
Also, move as much stuff as you can out of C:/
(Photos, videos and documents out of C and out of the desktop, delete all the stuff in Downloads).
Dinner
Just turn off your PC, unplug your monitor from the motherboard slot and plug it into the video card. Reinstall drivers if needed. I bet you're running stuff on that intel IGP instead of the video card.

Most (if not all) of my games run on the lowest settings.
Also, l am working towards putting a list together of the games which are affected.
This is my life:

Everything works for everyone else.
Next to nothing works for me.

My monitor is connected to the PC via HDMI cable... not by the motherboard.

Well for me, it is always the FIRST resort, but I understand what you mean here...having almost 80 processes running has got to be taxing on the PC and we don't have a complete list necessarily of all of them here yet...I am staying out of it now so please forgive me for not helping much here.

What ports are next to the HDMI port on the back of the PC?

A DVI above and two USBs below.
Guess I'm not helping here.
Cool. 4 pages in and still hasn't named any game.

Then your monitor is connected to the mainboard and not your graphics card. You should find another HDMI port further below.

My PC is currently running 70-77 background proccesses.
HOLY....????? Man that is too many.
77 is totally fine. A fresh Windows 7 alone uses around 40 and once all drivers are installed you might already hit 60. Add browser, Steam and a few other things and bam, 77.
