far cry 5 so awful

i have so awfully low fps on far cry no matter what settings i choose

i should be able to get 60 fps with low settings on 4k on this machine

Make sure your laptop is using the dedicated 3080 GPU and not the integrated graphic solution on the CPU.
Go into your Windows Energy settings and set it to max performance.
Also are you playing with the laptop plugged in?
Many laptops go into a energy saving mode if you play from the battery and will switch the graphics to integrated mode to save battery life.

yes this is plugged in i am so dissapointed .. it feels like if i had bought this on wish.... i have installed all of its drivers instlaled nvidia drivers with geforce experfienec everal times with clean install and it just is awful in all games

it wont give me more then 30 fps in demanding games... no matter how much i putt everything to low this is supposed to give you 60 fps 4k on medium to low but it wont do htat... there is something seiorusly wrong with this laptop

Very strange. Honestly sounds like its using the integrated graphics instead of the dedicated 3080.
Try going into the laptop BIOS when booting and set the graphic adapter to the 3080 so the integrated one is completely disabled.
Then try again if it changes anything in games.

Also let a temperature monitoring program run while you try your games, its also possible the laptop is massively overheating which will cause it to downclock the CPU/GPU a ton.

If it uses that cpu, ram and the grafic card,
it should run fine.

Played it on a way older pc, was good.

no i have not refunded the game i have the game on ubisoft store also you have to fix the upbisoft issue that people cnat connect to the client

i refunded that computer it might also have been something bad with that one so i dont have any gaming laptop right now to play these games ..unless i use geforce now
