Lots of places prevent you reusing old passwords because if it was ever compromised in the past it could be known to someone trying to gain access
Plus it can't be that good if you forgot it or like OP want to reuse it because they love it.
You should not use a password for more than one thing.
Just try it and get your answer. Simple as that
what could others do if you do that?
password wise it should be no problem to switch forth and back but i think its against steam tos to give your account to a friend to try something or whatever
yeah, not exactly like this but kinda the same idea
Should you use an old password? Probably not
i wasn't exactly gonna do that
please don't be so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it
If you're ahving issues with remembering passwords then change how you do this. It really is simple.
Some people swear by password management software (I don't because I don't like assuming others are as secure as they claim they are).
I simply do this -
I have a diary every year. In that diary first thing I do is copy across all my lognins and passwords from my previous diary.
I don't go out so it stays at home with me, and noody is going to burgle it. If a burglar got in and by some miracle I wasn't here, I'm pretty sure no burgalar think "I'm going to steal his diary".
So unless you have some itinerant sibling or something it's as safe as houses.
