MasterCard has charged back a recent Steam Store transaction.

Content purchased with these wallet funds has been removed from your account.
This account will have restricted functionality.

It says that MasterCard has charged back 60€, if i add 60€ to my Steam Wallet will i be able to trade and use the Steam Market?

You will need to either reverse the charge back through your credit card, or purchase whatever you refunded again, then you need to register a support account and open a ticket explaining you have done so. Once Steam has reviewed the ticket and confirmed that you have fixed the problem, your account should not be restricted.

No. The chargeback needs to be reversed.

When a chargeback is issued, Valve gets charged that ammount, plus additional fees. of $20-$200 or more, per a chargeback.

I cant add money to my steam wallet because its blocked. I cant do anything else than play games. I need to call my bank or what?

Contact your bank and ask them to reverse your initial dispute. If you don't do this within the 9 week/93 day windown; your account could be permanently suspended. Payment fraud is very serious.

Call the bank and reverse the chargeback. Then contact support to have the lock lifted.

That is well past the time you can reverse the chargeback. Sounds like you are permanently locked out. Only thing you can do is create a news account at this point, and not repeat the process.

Yes. You can't commit fraudulent activity and expect to get away without dire consequence. You had a 3 month window to rectify this situation. Looking at the suspension message you received; it would suggest you added wallet funds, bought items and then performed a chargeback in the hope of retaining your money and items. Fraud of any kind is not tolerated.

It doesnt say anything that i had 3 months, and i didnt scam i used my brothers credit card to buy keys.

The ban notification would have mentioned a restricted 9 week/93 day period. In that time; you had to have ensured that the dispute was cancelled and the initial chargeback was reversed.

The fact your brother actioned this with his bank demonstrates that the transaction was fraudulent and the suspension will remain permanently.
