[SOLVED] I can't add friend after toping up steam wallet..
I can't add friend after toping up steam wallet.. $6 USD..
then i bought a in game item in dota2 from store.. $5++
but my account still appears as limited.. wtf..
do i have to top up again and buy a bloody game in order to remove that restriction?
this is nonsense.. =_="

SOLVED. i read S$6 as US$6.. duh mistake.. =_="

you have to topup equivalent ammount in USD...
just make sure when u top up in steam, u need to ensure the amount is higher than USD $5

How much money exactly did you spend, and in what currency?
The Giving One Dec 20, 2015 @ 10:26pm
Please answer the questions that the good FFL posted above. Also, I have personally been posting in at least two threads and seen it update while the user was asking about it here. So if it is determined that you have actually spent enough money on Steam, then sometimes it just takes a bit to update, in the case that you just recently spent enough funds that is.

Date Items Type Total Wallet
Change Balance
20 Dec, 2015
Dota 2
In-Game Purchase

This seems to suggest that you just recently covered the amount required, so is that the case ? As I said above, sometimes it takes just a bit to update.

So how long ago exactly did you go over the amount in US dollars, according to whatever currency you are using ? You did not specifically answer the question that was asked above...

What currency are you using ? If you are using US dollars, then please just tell us that here so we know for sure. Thanks.

EDIT..Your profile is private, so we could not see if it updated while you are posting here. I have actually seen that happen at least twice.

Yes, that is why the good FFL asked you that above and that is a common mistake, if indeed that is what the issue is for you. Check the dollars-to-sgd exchange rate and possibly add more funds.

After that, it may still take just a bit to update, as it is not always instant as far as I have seen here.
