[Solved:] Steam was unable to sync your files ... Steam Cloud
nvm. Found a solution


Go into the game's properties menu.
Uncheck 'Sync with Steam Cloud'
Start the game
Create a new save
Close game
Properties again -> check 'Sync with Steam Cloud'
Start the game


Hi

I got a msg by a game that the space for savegames is running low and that I should delete some savegames.
So I did.
Now, every time I start the game I get this Steam Warning:

Unable to sync: If you have launcher from another computer...
If you launch now, you may lose those changes or progress.

Is there a fix for that?
I played the game 2-3 times now after that and thought Steam should have synced by now.

Got this error while using RetroArch: "Steam Cloud Error Unable to Sync." Could've been because I uninstalled some cores, but this fix worked for me.

you just gotta uncheck sync with cloud. close steam, then check sync with cloud. click on the sync icon next to your game it will say unable to sync try again? click yes and it should fix it.

thank you, the above also helped. I had to go under "Cloud" setting under the "view" tab to uncheck, close and restart steam, then check, hooray it worked as you guys said.

It'd been a few months since I was able to play on a PC, so I was stumped on why it'd do this. 4th comment fixed if for one of the games (Blasphemous) but not for the other (Castlevania Advanced Collection). Still got the cloud error even after backing up and deleting the saves (which the cloud restored anyway), or creating new ones entirely and choosing the ones on the cloud to restore, which worked, but still gives sync errors afterward. I might have to go look up the boards for that particular game because nothing worked.
